Ron Kennedy

Ron Kennedy currently holds the position of Superintendent Generation at Tampa Electric since September 2022. Prior to this role, Ron served as Supervisor of Generation OPM at Tampa Electric Company from February 2020 to November 2022. Ron's extensive experience in the energy sector includes various supervisory and planning roles at Teco Energy, covering areas such as turbine operations and project management from 2007 to 2020. Additionally, Ron was a Millwright Journeyman with Millwright Local 1000 from 1998 to 2007. Ron holds an Associate's Degree in Industrial Business Management from Hillsborough Community College, completed between 2013 and 2014, and attended Guilford Technical Community College from 1996 to 1998.
