Richard Burns

Richard Burns has extensive experience in facility management and operations. Richard currently holds the position of Regional Vice President of Facilities at EOS Fitness. Prior to this role, they worked at Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA, where they served as Association Facility Director and Association Facility Risk Manager. Richard was also the Senior Property Director for Association Services at the same organization. Before joining Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA, Richard worked at Bayside Terrace Holiday Retirement as a Maintenance Director and at United Contracting Services Inc. as a Project Manager and Superintendent. Throughout their career, they have successfully managed teams, adhered to regulations and codes, and ensured timely project completion.

Richard Burns completed their education in a chronological order. In 1987, they enrolled in Central Florida C.C. and finished their degree in Criminology in 1989. Later, in 2021, they pursued an Associate of Science degree in Construction Management at Everglades University, which they completed in 2023. Moreover, they obtained additional certifications including OSHA 10-Hour from the OSHA Safety Training Institute in January 2023 and 30-hour Osha for general industry from USF in February 2013.
