Terhi Kilamo

Terhi Kilamo is a seasoned academic professional currently serving as the Head of the Degree Programme in Computing and Electrical Engineering and a University Lecturer at Tampere University since May 2017. With a long-standing career at Tampere University of Technology that began in May 1999, Terhi has held various roles including Postdoctoral Researcher, Teaching Associate, and Lecturer, focusing on programming courses and data structures. Terhi's research experience includes work as a Researcher and Ph.D. student within the Nordforsk Researcher Network from 2009 to 2012, emphasizing open communities and open-source research. Terhi holds a Doctor of Science degree in Software Engineering and a Master's degree in Computer Science from Tampere University of Technology, along with a Teacher's pedagogical qualification from Tampere University of Applied Sciences.
