Mika Kauhanen

Mika Kauhanen has an extensive background in music programming, communications, and media. Currently serving as a concert programmer/producer at Tampereen Työväen Teatteri since August 2012, Mika is also a member of the Executive Board of TTT-Teatteripalvelut Oy, responsible for managing music events at TTT-Klubi. Since September 1999, Mika has been a radio presenter for Yle and is a panel member of the Transglobal World Music Chart. Additionally, Mika has worked as a freelance editor and writer for various print media outlets since January 1999. Previously, as Communications Manager at the Finnish Composers' Copyright Society Teosto from March 2008 to July 2012, Mika oversaw communications with rightsholder customers and managed significant website projects. Prior experience includes promoting Finnish music internationally as Coordinator for Popular Music at the Finnish Music Information Centre from January 2003 to March 2008. Mika holds a Master of Arts in Musicology from the University of Helsinki and has completed additional training in communications.
