Sean McGinn

Sean McGinn is the current Global Head of Partnerships at Tamr. Prior to this, they were the Vice President of Global Systems Integrators and Alliances at Virtustream from July 2015 to June 2017. Sean then led strategic cloud partnerships for SAP's Enterprise-focused cloud business as the SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud Business Development/Partnerships from December 2017 to January 2020. Sean was also a Senior Director of Business Development & Strategy for the HANA Cloud Group at SAP from September 2005 to July 2015 where they co-developed the board-approved business plan that launched the SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud service globally in 2013. Sean has also held the title of Vice President of Business Development at Network Chemistry and Director of Channel Strategy and Development at Enterasys Networks.

Sean McGinn completed a marketing program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Sean then went on to earn their M.A.L.D. in international business and conflict negotiation from The Fletcher School at Tufts University. Finally, they earned their B.S. in industrial management from Carnegie Mellon University.

Sean McGinn works with Mahesh Pai - Head of Engineering, Ihab Ilyas - Co-Founder, and Suki Dhuphar - Head of EMEA. Their manager is Andy Palmer, Co-Founder, Chairman & CEO.
