Yasha Sharma

Yasha Sharma has a diverse work experience in data science and research. Currently, they are employed as a DataOps Engineer at Tamr since September 2021. Prior to this, Yasha worked at Biogen from August 2020 to September 2021, holding the position of Principal Data Scientist and Global Medical Digital Health Scientist. They also worked at Genospace from September 2018 to December 2019 as a Health Data Scientist and Data Scientist II. Earlier in their career, Yasha worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University from January 2016 to September 2018, where they conducted research on image segmentation, statistical analysis, and tessellation platforms. Yasha also gained experience as a Health Data Science Fellow at Insight Data Science in June 2018. Their work involved developing an app for cancer patients and establishing a pipeline for data extraction. Additionally, Yasha worked as a Research Assistant at Boston University from September 2010 to December 2015, contributing to research studies on image analysis, pattern recognition, and simulation modeling.

Yasha Sharma completed a Bachelor's Degree in Bioengineering from UC San Diego from 2005 to 2009. subsequently, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Boston University, completing their studies from 2010 to 2015.
