Kassem Alokla is an accomplished professional in the field of petroleum engineering, currently holding multiple leadership roles at TAMU-SPE, including Carbon Capture & Storage Symposium Chair and President. As a Graduate Research Assistant at the Harold Vance Department of Petroleum Engineering at Texas A&M University, Kassem focuses on advancing CO2 geological storage through various analytical and numerical techniques. Kassem has gained valuable experience through internships at Chevron and CNX, where involvement in reservoir engineering and CO2 storage modeling has been prominent. Kassem's academic journey includes a PhD in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University, an MS in Energy Studies from the American University of Beirut, and a BE in Petroleum Engineering from Beirut Arab University.
