Cigdem Ozdemir

Cigdem Ozdemir, SPHRi, has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles.

Cigdem began their career in 1999 as a Training Specialist at FNSS Defense Systems and then moved on to become the Assistant Turkish Programs Officer at the Turkish Fulbright Commission from 2005 to 2008.

Cigdem joined FNSS Savunma Sistemleri A.Ş. in 2008 and served as the Organizational Development Unit Manager until 2015.

In 2010, they also became involved with the HR Certification Institute, initially as a Subject Matter Expert and later as a Certification Council Member. Cigdem was also a member of the Exam Development Panel for the global HR certification exam HRBP.

In 2014, they took on the role of Adjunct Lecturer at Bilkent University, and in 2017, they worked as a Part-Time Instructor at Bahcesehir University.

More recently, since 2015, they have been the HR Director at TANAP Natural Gas Transmission Company, overseeing the construction and operation of a major natural gas pipeline project.

Cigdem Ozdemir, SPHRi, holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Orta Dogu Teknik Universitesi / Middle East Technical University, which they obtained from 1992 to 1996. Cigdem also has a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Bilkent University, earned between 2008 and 2012. In terms of certifications, Cigdem obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources - International™ (SPHRi™) certificate from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in March 2019, as well as in March 2016. Cigdem also holds the Human Resource Business Professional (HRBP®) certification from HRCI, obtained in March 2012.
