David Holtz is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, specializing in Management of Organizations and Entrepreneurship & Innovation. Holtz has significant experience in data science and research, having held roles as a Research Intern at major companies including Microsoft and Facebook, and as a Data Scientist at Airbnb, where contributions included developing machine learning models for prediction analytics. Holtz also served as an Advisor at Tandem and a Course Instructor at Udacity, where over 65,000 students enrolled in the data science course created. Holtz earned a PhD in Information Technology from MIT Sloan School of Management, an M.A. in Physics and Astronomy from Johns Hopkins University, and a B.A. in Physics and Theater from Princeton University.
