Noga Kahana

Noga Kahana has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Noga is currently the Head of Data and Analytics at Tandem - Language Exchange. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Data Engineer at OMMAX - Digital Solutions. In 2021, they served as a Senior Data Scientist at TIER Mobility, where they developed machine learning-driven data products and conducted in-depth analysis. Before that, they worked at Fraugster as a Data Scientist, Analytics Manager, and Data Analyst, where they managed and implemented ML solutions, mentored colleagues, and worked on fraud pattern identification and product improvement using SQL, Python, and R. Noga also has experience as a Research Consultant at New Spirit and as an Analyst and Data Coordinator at The Henrietta Szold Institute, where they conducted statistical analysis, process optimization, and taught workshops on analytical programs. Noga has also worked as a clinical psychologist at the Ministry of Health Israel and as a science teacher at the Branco Weiss Institute. Noga has additional experience in process management, data analysis, and technical solutions as the Vice Manager for the city-center district in Nir Barkat's election campaign. Noga was also an Assistant Researcher at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Noga Kahana has a strong education background in psychology and data science. Noga obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology and General Humanities from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where they studied from 2010 to 2012. Following that, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Clinical Psychology at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 2013 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Noga has also obtained various certifications in the field of data science. Noga completed several courses on Coursera, including "Agile Analytics," "Managing an Agile Team," "Agile Meets Design Thinking," "Digital Product Management: Modern Fundamentals," "Hypothesis-Driven Development," and "Practical Machine Learning." Noga also took courses from deeplearning.ai, such as "Convolutional Neural Networks," "Structuring Machine Learning Projects," "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization," and "Neural Networks and Deep Learning." Furthermore, they completed a course on Python for Data Science from edX. Noga's pursuit of knowledge extends to other areas as well, as they have acquired certifications in subjects like "Reproducible Research," "Exploratory Data Analysis," "Managing Big Data with MySQL," "Getting and Cleaning Data," "The Data Scientist’s Toolbox," and "R Programming."
