Bryan Rosales

Bryan Rosales has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role at Tandem PV as a Solution Processing Team Lead and Senior R&D Chemist, where they have been working since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked as an R&D Scientist at Tandem PV from December 2021 to September 2022.

Before joining Tandem PV, Bryan worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory from May 2019 to December 2021.

Bryan'searlier experience includes roles as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Iowa State University from August 2014 to May 2019. During this time, they focused on the low-temperature synthesis of semiconductors, correlation of structure-property relationships, and analysis of organolead mixed-halide perovskites.

Bryan also worked as a Visiting Researcher at The University of Bonn in 2014, where they developed synthesis techniques and doped oxide materials for redox catalysis.

Additionally, they had a brief stint as a Visiting Researcher at National Taiwan University in November-December 2013.

Bryan'searly career includes positions such as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at The Ohio State University from December 2012 to October 2013, where they focused on Li-ion batteries, and as a Parcel Assistant at Fedex Smartpost from August 2008 to July 2013.

Bryan's work experience also includes a role as a Tennis Instructor at Goveport Madison High School in May-September 2008.

Bryan Rosales pursued their education chronologically beginning with Columbus State Community College from 2010 to 2011, where they obtained an Associate of Science degree with a focus on Physical Sciences. Bryan then continued their studies at The Ohio State University from 2011 to 2013, earning a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry. Finally, from 2014 to 2019, Bryan attended Iowa State University, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Inorganic Chemistry.
