Lanny Sun

Lanny Sun is a prominent figure in the life sciences and investment sectors, currently serving as Chairman of TandemAI since January 2022, where the mission focuses on democratizing drug discovery. Lanny also holds the positions of Chairman and CEO at Full-Life Technologies and Partner & Chief Investment Officer at Gordian Ventures, which specializes in co-founding life science companies. As a Partner at Chengwei Capital since January 2016, Lanny contributes to one of China's earliest independent VC firms and its first evergreen fund. Previously, Lanny co-founded and served as CEO of Silicon Therapeutics from August 2016 until its acquisition in December 2021, leading the company through significant financial milestones and a merger valued at over $2 billion. Lanny began an early career in investment banking at Deutsche Bank from 2010 to 2012 and holds a BS degree in Economics from Trinity College-Hartford.
