David Au has extensive work experience in the field of network infrastructure and security. David started their career as a Network Systems Analyst at the City of Toronto in 1999 and then moved on to INTRIA CIBC, where they worked as a Technical Specialist in NT Server Architecture and Infrastructure Networks. In 2001, they joined Tangerine and progressed through various roles, including Team Leader and Manager in the Network Systems and Network Infrastructure and Security departments. David later became a Senior Manager and then the Director of Cyber Security and Network Delivery Services at Tangerine. Throughout their career, David has demonstrated leadership, mentoring skills, and a focus on researching and deploying new technologies to improve business operations and network systems.
David Au attended Seneca Polytechnic from 1993 to 1996, where they obtained a Business of Computer Systems Diploma. Additionally, they participated in a CISSP Boot Camp at Deloitte and received IBM Security QRader SIEM Training at IBM. In terms of certifications, they obtained a Certified Algosec Security Administrator from AlgoSec in October 2014. David also pursued CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) and CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) certifications from Cisco, although the dates of completion are unspecified.
