Christine Habeeb is the Chief Legal Officer at Tango Card. Christine has a long history of working in the legal field, with a focus on payments and regulatory compliance. Christine started their career at Amazon as the Senior Corporate Counsel for Payments, where they were responsible for advising business units on state, federal, and international regulations related to stored value, money transmission, consumer protection, and financial privacy. Christine also negotiated and advised on corporate contracts and strategic partnerships with banks and alternative payment providers. After five years at Amazon, they moved to Stripe as the Product Counsel, where they worked on a variety of internal projects. After two years at Stripe, they joined Tango Card as their first CLO. At Tango Card, they are responsible for building the legal department and advising the company on a variety of legal matters.

Christine Habeeb attended the IU Maurer School of Law from 2005 to 2008, graduating summa cum laude. Christine was the president of the Feminist Law Forum and a member of the Indiana Law Journal. Christine also attended the University of Notre Dame from 2001 to 2005, where they majored in French and Gender Studies. Christine was a member of the varsity diving team and the Dean's List, and they studied abroad in France. Christine interned at the Senate Foreign Relations Committee during their time at Notre Dame.
