Brian B. H.

Brian B. H. has a strong background in pharmacology and toxicology, with experience spanning from research to leadership roles. Brian B. is currently serving as the Vice President of Pharmacology at Tango Therapeutics since January 2022. Before that, they held the position of Vice President of Pharmacology & Toxicology at Oncorus from December 2020 to January 2022 and Senior Director of Pharmacology & Toxicology from June 2018 to December 2020. Prior to their industry experience, Brian worked at Merck as a Principal Scientist in In Vivo Pharmacology from 2006 to 2018, where they led various immuno-oncology discovery programs. Brian B. also conducted postdoctoral research at MIT from 2000 to 2006, focusing on the etiology of T cell malignancies and proposing a unifying theory behind the development of leukemias.

Brian B. H. has a Postdoctoral degree in T Cell Genetics & Cancer Immunology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2000-2006). Prior to that, they completed their PhD in Immunology at Tufts University School of Medicine, and also obtained an MS in Immunology from the University of Southern Maine.
