Jean Pierre Valencia

Jean Pierre Valencia is the CTO and Partner at TangoCode, a software development company. Jean has over 15 years of experience in the software engineering field. Jean began their career in 2003 as a software engineer for Credit Bank of Peru. Jean was part of the software team in charge of Electronic Banking, mainly the product called Telecredito. This web application was used by the biggest corporations in Peru so they can do the payroll to employees, transfer money etc. It was one of the biggest products of the bank due to the millions of dollars of transactions that the software handled. Jean's main tasks were to implement new features, fix issues, provide support, etc.

In 2006, they left Credit Bank of Peru to join DePaul University as a software engineer. Jean was part of the team that re-designed and rebuild the Online Application Center. They used .NET/Javascript and Oracle for that implementation. The web application is currently used by DePaul so prospects students can apply online to the university.

Jean Pierre Valencia has extensive experience in software engineering and has worked on a variety of software development projects. Jean is currently using their skills and knowledge to help grow TangoCode into a successful business.

Jean Pierre Valencia has a Master's in Software Engineering with a concentration in Project Management from DePaul University. Jean also has a Bachelor's in Systems Engineering from Católica de Santa María University. In addition, they are certified by Coursera in Machine Learning, Scrum Alliance in Certified Scrum Product Owner, Scrum Alliance in Certified ScrumMaster, Microsoft in MCP, and Microsoft in MCSD.NET.
