VP, Global Controller at Tangoe

Frank Calandra is the current Vice President and Global Controller at Tangoe. Prior to this, they served as a Corporate Finance Consultant at Sterling Talent Solutions from June 2015 to January 2018. There, they were responsible for recording the $1.2B Goldman Sach’s acquisition of Sterling Talent Solutions, formalizing corporate accounting policies and procedures, managing $650M in credit agreements and financial covenants, heading the purchase price allocation process related to four acquisitions, developing a stock option expense valuation model and accounting process, preparing monthly financial packages for senior management and board of directors, managing annual financial and 401k audit engagements, streamlining the monthly closing process, assisting with the implementation of a new ERP system (NetSuite), and managing the treasury function and cash projections.

Before their time at Sterling Talent Solutions, Frank Calandra served as the Vice President of Finance - Global Controller at GT Nexus (formerly TradeCard Inc.) from June 2000 to December 2014. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of finance and accounting for the company. This included overseeing the finance team, developing and implementing financial policies and procedures, managing the annual budgeting process, overseeing audits and tax compliance, directing the forecasting process, and acting as a business partner to the CEO and other members of senior management.

Calandra began their career as an Assistant Controller at GE Real Estate Capital from September 1997 to May 2000. In this role, they were responsible for all aspects of financial reporting for the company. This included preparing monthly financial statements, overseeing the accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, managing the payroll function, coordinating the annual audit process, and assisting with the implementation of a new accounting system.

Frank Calandra has a degree in accounting from Pace University's Lubin School of Business and is certified in developing and promoting hybrid competence from LinkedIn.
