Andrew Allgeier

Andrew Allgeier has worked in the software engineering industry since 2008. From 2008 to 2011 they worked at Northrop-Grumman Corporation as a Software Engineer, where they developed a protocol to communicate with various FPGAs through a multi-drop RS-485 serial interface, launched and maintained a web server on a local network, and developed a PHP app to handle FPGA builds. From 2011 to 2017 they worked at Serco - North America as a Software Developer, where they maintained and improved a C# front-end to the United States Air Force Logistics Database and processed data from various legacy database formats for input into a new unified database. Since 2017 they have worked at Riverside Research as a Software Engineer, where they design, develops, and tests software in support of Open Mission Systems research and performs research into new technologies relevant to OMS and develops prototype implementations. Most recently, since 2019, they have worked at Tangram Flex as the Directory of Application Engineering and an Application Engineer, where they developed a Prototype Modern Open System Architecture (MOSA) to support distributed wargaming, developed and deployed simulation software to the AWS Cloud using Kubernetes Orchestration, and developed software plugins to generate a Critical Abstraction Layer (CAL) for Open Mission Systems.

Andrew Allgeier received their Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Evansville in 2008. Andrew then went on to pursue a Masters of Business Administration in Finance from Wright State University, which they completed in 2012.
