Daniel Wasilewsky has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as Founder of the company FreeGuides in 2020. Prior to that, they held various roles at Tank Stream Labs from 2018 to 2019, including Head of Business Development & Digital, Head of Operations, Community Manager, and Community Experience and Marketing Coordinator. Daniel also served as an Intern and Intern's intern at Tank Stream Labs in 2018. In 2020, they became an Advisory Board Member at Hult Prize at UTS, focusing on impact entrepreneurship aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. In 2019, Daniel participated in an International Entrepreneurial Experience at The Hacker Exchange. From 2013 to 2018, they worked as a Museum Manager at the Sydney Jewish Museum. Additionally, they have held roles as a Marketing Intern at SWIFT SHIFT, Founder of YourTern, and Product Analyst at Thred Limited. Daniel also served as a Program Coach at UTS Hatchery in 2017 and as an Innovation Intern at Ashurst from 2017 to 2018. Throughout their career, Daniel has demonstrated a passion for entrepreneurship and innovation.

Daniel Wasilewsky completed their education at the University of Technology Sydney from 2014 to 2017, earning a Bachelor of Business degree and a Bachelor of Creative Intelligence and Innovation degree with a focus on Marketing / Management. Prior to this, they attended Moriah College from 2001 to 2013 and obtained a High School Certificate. Daniel also received several certifications and awards, including 1st place in a VISA competition in 2015, being a finalist in a UTS pitch competition in 2015, an award for commitment, an award for school service, and academic achievements in Design and Technology and Food Technology while at Moriah College, as well as completing Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) training through NSW Health. In 2013, they also received the UTS prize for Creative Intelligence, and in 2012, they achieved first place in Design and Technology at Moriah College.
