Casper Willems

Casper Willems is an experienced professional with a strong background in managing and developing businesses, particularly in the materials and technology sectors. Currently serving as Managing Director of Tankwell | Lightweight Tank Containers since May 2012, Willems is involved in the development and marketing of composite lightweight tank containers. Additionally, since May 2014, Willems has been a team member at Inspirething and has owned STROOOM since September 2011, focusing on business growth and organizational improvement for SMEs. Prior roles include Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Draka Energy & Infrastructure, Director of Product Management at Draka Cableteq, Plant Manager in Amsterdam for Draka, and Manager of Product Development at Draka Kabel Nederland. Willems also served on the supervisory board of IJsterk from 2010 to 2019. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Polymer Science from Delft University of Technology and a Master’s degree in materials science from the University of Groningen and Delft University of Technology.
