Tom Byrne

Tom Byrne is an experienced sales professional in the utilities sector, currently serving as Regional Sales Manager for Tantalus Systems since April 2022, focusing on smart grid solutions for public power and electric cooperative utilities in the western United States. Prior to this role, Tom worked at Itron for 25 years as an Account Executive, managing the sales and support of electricity meters and related systems across Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, and Illinois. Tom's career began as a Sales Engineer at Tecumseh Products Company and later as Sales and Collection Manager at Mac Tools. Tom Byrne holds a BA in Communications from John Carroll University and has additional education from the Community College of Allegheny County.
