Derek Silberstein

Derek Silberstein currently serves as Chief Development Officer at TAO Group since October 2021, after a successful tenure at Hakkasan Group from 2014 to October 2021, where roles included Executive Vice President of Food & Beverage, Executive Vice President of Nightlife, and Executive Vice President of Operations. Prior to that, Silberstein was Vice President of Operations at Angel Management Group from 2004 to 2014, overseeing multiple high-profile properties. Earlier experience includes General Manager at Ice Las Vegas and Operations Manager at House of Blues Entertainment. Silberstein began their career in hospitality as Entertainment Manager at Sam's Town Hotel & Gambling Hall and Director of Catering at Tribeca Rooftop. Academic credentials include an AOS in Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management from New York Restaurant School and studies at The Ohio State University.
