James Evans

James Evans has extensive work experience in the technology industry. James is currently employed as the Manager Cloud, Level 3, and Resell at Taos since January 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Sr. Azure Consultant at Microsoft from April 2020 to January 2021.

James has a long tenure at Taos, where they held multiple roles. From March 2017 to April 2020, they served as a Sr. Systems Engineer, where they worked with clients and internal operations to develop and implement cloud migration strategies for various platforms like Microsoft Office 365, Azure, Amazon Web Services, and Google Cloud Platform. Before this, they worked as a Sr. Technical Consultant from June 2012 to March 2017.

James has also worked at various other companies as a Taos IT Consultant. This includes their role at Facebook/Oculus from October 2015 to October 2016, eMarketer from August 2015 to October 2015, Seagate/EVault from July 2013 to August 2015, and Tellabs from June 2012 to June 2013.

James started their career as a Consultant at Distributed Database Consulting, Inc. in June 2001 and worked there until April 2012.

James Evans attended Boise State University from 1992 to 2003, where they studied Computer Science. James did not obtain a degree during this time. In addition to their formal education, James has obtained several certifications. James became a Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate for Office 365 and a Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert for Productivity in January 2018. In December 2017, they also achieved the Google Professional Cloud Architect certification.
