Maureen Gembala

Maureen Gembala has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Maureen is currently working as a Strategic Human Resources Business Partner at IBM since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Taos, an IBM Company, as an HR Operations Manager starting in May 2015. Before joining Taos, they served as a Human Resources Contractor at C3 from January 2014 to December 2014. Their earliest work experience dates back to May 1987 when they started as an Area Operations Manager at The Hertz Corporation, a position they held until September 2000.

Maureen Gembala holds a Bachelor's degree in Spanish and Family Studies from The University of New Mexico. Maureen also completed a 2-year Study Abroad program in Seville, Spain, focusing on Spanish Language, History, and Culture at Trinity Christian College. Additionally, they participated in a Summer Abroad program in San Sebastian, Spain, at the University of Nevada, Reno, studying Area, Ethnic, Cultural, and Group Studies. In December 2020, Maureen obtained the SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM.
