David Afonso

David Afonso has over three decades of experience in the aviation industry, currently serving as the Flight Operations Engineering Manager at TAP Air Portugal since 1991, where also held the position of Performance Engineer. Prior to this role, David Afonso worked as a Mechanical Engineer at the Centro para a Conservação de Energia from May 1989 to January 1991, focusing on energy conservation audits. David Afonso earned an Engineer's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico between 1984 and 1989, and completed secondary education at Lycée Français Charles Lepierre and Collège Pasteur.
