Phil Churchwell

Phil Churchwell is a seasoned professional in the petroleum engineering field, currently serving as Completions Manager and Completions Engineer at Tap Rock Resources since March 2019. Previously, Phil held various roles at Chevron from June 2014 to March 2019, including Well Site Manager for zipper frac operations, sidetracks, workovers, and drill site management for shallow horizontals. Phil started in the oil and gas industry as an intern with Chevron, gaining experience in drilling engineering and production engineering in 2012 and 2013, respectively. Phil graduated from Texas A&M University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering.
