VP R&D at Tap Systems

Liron Ilouz has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. The most recent position was as a VP R&D at Tap Systems Inc., starting in December 2018. In this role, they were responsible for the research, design, and implementation of advanced technologies into the company's products, including the deployment of computer vision algorithms with CNN and OpenCV on low power architectures.

Prior to that, Liron was the R&D Manager at VITALERTER from January 2017 to November 2018. In this role, they managed a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and led the development of signal processing, machine learning, and CNN algorithms for vital signs estimation and medical events prediction.

Before that, Liron worked at SDS - System Design Solutions as an Algorithm and Sensor Engineer from September 2014 to December 2016. Here, they focused on leading algorithm development in medical projects, processing electrical, inertial, and optical signals for clinical indices extraction, and implementing machine learning pipelines.

Liron also has experience in the Israeli Navy, where they served as a Weapon System Project Manager from October 2013 to August 2014, an Unmanned Systems Engineer from August 2009 to October 2013, and an Avionic Systems Integration Engineer from September 2007 to September 2009.

Furthermore, Liron worked at SDS - System Design Solutions as an Embedded Software Engineer from August 2006 to September 2007.

Throughout their work experience, Liron has demonstrated expertise in research, design, and implementation of advanced technologies, as well as in leading teams and developing algorithms in various domains, including medical and defense sectors.

Liron Ilouz completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2003 to 2007.
