Corey Johnston

Corey Johnston has a diverse work experience spanning various industries.

Corey is currently working as a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Tapcart since April 2023.

Prior to that, Corey worked at Square, where they held multiple roles. Corey started as a Sales Operations Lead Development Representative from September 2013 to October 2014. Corey then transitioned to E-commerce Business Development from July 2017 to October 2018. Corey further progressed in Square, taking on the role of Retail Accounts from October 2018 to January 2020. Following that, they worked as a Product Sales Specialist - Retail from January 2020 to January 2022, and later as Manager, Product Sales Specialists from January 2022 to April 2022. Finally, Corey held the position of Product Marketing from April 2022 to April 2023.

Corey's early career includes experience in the music industry, where they worked as a Staff Writer & A&R at Dancing Astronaut from November 2016 to April 2018. Corey also worked as a Strategic Business Development at Eventbrite from March 2016 to December 2016, and previously as a Business Development Representative from October 2014 to March 2016.

Additionally, Corey has held positions in Triggit as Sales Operations from April 2014 to October 2014, and as a Lead Development Representative from September 2013 to October 2014. Corey has also worked at ESPN as a Lead Operations Intern & Sponsorship Coordinator from December 2011 to December 2012, and at Blue Spark Entertainment as a Promotions & Logistics Director from May 2012 to November 2012.

Early in their career, Corey interned at Mobile Ecosystem Forum as a Summer Intern Analyst from June 2011 to August 2011. Furthermore, they volunteered as a General Volunteer at Alzheimer's Family Services Center from 2006 to 2009.

Corey Johnston obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science with a minor in Political Economy from the University of California, Berkeley. This degree was earned between the years 2009 and 2013. In December 2020, Corey also obtained a certification in High-Impact Business Writing from the University of California, Irvine.
