Justin McLaren

Justin McLaren has accumulated a wide range of work experience since 2008. Justin began their career as an Ocean Lifeguard for the City of Newport Beach. In 2014, they took on the role of Fashion Design Intern for Groceries Apparel, eventually becoming their Director of Product Development. In 2017, they started their own business, Justin McLaren Web Services, as a Web Designer/Developer. In 2018, they joined Plaza Home Mortgage, Inc. as a Software Engineer, developing mortgage applications with React, ASP.NET, and third-party APIs. In 2019, they became a Frontend Engineer for HubHaus, leading development for their Airbnb clone and building an agile team to design and develop internal tools. Currently, they are a Senior Frontend Engineer for Tapcart, where they own app.tapcart.com and has led development for the Product Page Builder and Mobile Download Banner feature.

Justin McLaren attended the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) from 2014 to 2015, where they studied Fashion/Apparel Design.
