Marc LaMorticella

Marc LaMorticella is a graduate from Cortland state with an undergrad in Physical Education he went on to achieve his Master's in Administration at Canisius. Marc has been at Tapestry Charter School since its first year in 2001.

As a Physical Education teacher, Marc will instill lifelong fitness into the Tapestry community by exposing students to a wide variety of activities through the PE curriculum.

Athletics for the Thunderhawks have become an important piece of the culture of the community. As an Athletic Director, Mr. LaMorticella is passionate about the benefits that participation in a sport can instill in student-athletes. There are valuable lessons in character building that the Thunderhawk coaches and teachers instill in our student-athletes.

As a leader in Charter school athletics for the last several years, Marc has been appointed the Charter Liaison position through Erie 1 Boces and attends section 6 athletic council meetings.
