Tapestry Charter School
Sara Hilligas is the C0-Principal at Tapestry Charter School. She received her Bachelors Degree in English and Marketing from Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts. After a short time working in Manhattan she returned home to pursue a Masters in Adolescent Education from Canisius College.
Sara taught English for nine years before pursuing her certification as a School Building Leader. She is also a New York State Educator Voice Fellow. Outside of work she enjoys running, cooking, snowboarding and spending time with her family.
