Umakanth Thanasekaran

Umakanth Thanasekaran is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and digital development, currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering & Ops at Tapestry since August 2020. Prior to this role, Umakanth held the position of Director of Digital Development at Ralph Lauren and served in various capacities at Scholastic, including Senior Manager and Manager of Application Development. Earlier in the career, Umakanth worked at Ness Technologies and HCL Technologies, contributing as a Technical Lead and Member of the Technical Staff. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Computer Science from St. Joseph's College, a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Sengunthar Arts & Science College, and a Leadership Development program completed at the Center for Creative Leadership in September 2022.
