Paul Maggio

Paul Maggio has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Paul started their career as the Director of the Hyperbaric Oxygen Care Unit at Cabrini Medical Center in 2002. Paul then worked as an RN in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Bellevue Hospital from 2004 to 2008. In 2008, they became the Head RN of the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Bellevue Hospital. Paul joined NYU School of Medicine/Bellevue Hospital in 2009 as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP-C), specializing in management surgery. Paul held this role until 2013. During the same period, from 2011 to 2013, they also worked as a Nurse Practitioner at Hudson Valley Cancer Associates. In 2012, they briefly joined Health Quest as an Acute Care NP with Women's Cancer Care Associates. Paul then returned to Health Quest in 2014 and worked as a Nurse Practitioner until 2018. From 2013 to 2014, they held the position of Director Advanced Care Practitioners for Critical Care at Vassar Brother's Medical Center under Health Care. Most recently, Paul started working at TapestryHealth in May 2022 as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.

Paul Maggio has a diverse educational background in the field of nursing. Paul first attended Mohawk Valley Community College-Utica Branch from 1994 to 1997, where they obtained an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice & Social Science. Paul then went on to pursue a Bachelor's of Arts degree in English at the State University of New York at Buffalo from 1997 to 2001.

Following their undergraduate studies, Paul Maggio enrolled at Hudson County Community College from 2002 to 2004, where they completed a Nursing program, specializing in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Paul furthered their education at NYU College of Nursing from 2005 to 2009, obtaining a Master's degree in Acute Care Nursing, with a focus on Advanced Practice.
