Richard Nighy

Richard Nighy has a strong work experience in various roles related to product development, program management, and design engineering. Richard is currently working as a Product Development Director at Taphandles since January 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Programme Manager at the same company from November 2019 to January 2021. Before joining Taphandles, Richard worked for Cornelius Beverage Technology, Berkshire Hathaway as a Programme Manager from January 2014 to November 2019. Richard also has experience as a Programme Manager at IMI Cornelius from July 2007 to January 2014. Richard's earlier experience includes working as a Project Team Leader at IMI Vision, where they developed breakthrough technologies for platform businesses of IMI Group and had overall responsibility for IMI Vision India from January 2002 to July 2007. Richard started their career as a Design Team Manager at Dyson from September 1994 to January 2002 and worked as a Design Engineer at 3T Design Consultancy from 1992 to 1994.

Richard Nighy has an extensive education history in the field of engineering and design. From 1986 to 1990, they attended the University of Plymouth, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Following this, from 1990 to 1992, Richard pursued further education at both the Royal College of Art and Imperial College London. At the Royal College of Art, they earned a Master's Degree in Industrial Design Engineering, with a focus on the field of Industrial Design Engineering. Simultaneously, at Imperial College London, Richard received a Diploma of Imperial College in Engineering Design. These educational experiences equipped Richard Nighy with a strong foundation and knowledge in the fields of engineering and design.
