Shelby Parsons

Shelby Parsons is a theatre director who is currently working as the Director at Taproot Theatre. Shelby has a long history of working in theatre, starting as an intern at Georgetown University and then moving on to work as the Director of Education and Outreach at Taproot Theatre Company. Shelby has also worked as a kindergarten teacher and a Corps Member Advisor for Teach For America. In addition to their work in theatre, Shelby has also been involved in student programming at Pepperdine University, where they served as the Arts and Culture Chair and Competition Coordinator for the Pepperdine Center for the Arts.

Shelby Parsons has a Masters of Education in Education Policy from the University of Washington College of Education and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communication from Pepperdine University.
