Qais Alsuwaidi قيس السويدي

Qais Alsuwaidi قيس السويدي is a seasoned professional currently serving as Vice President of Sustainability and Innovation at TAQA Group since September 2022. Previously, Qais held the position of Director of Bilateral International Relations at the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation from January 2022 to August 2022, and was the Director of the Climate Change Department at the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment from January 2017 to December 2021. Qais began a career in law enforcement as a Police Officer at Abu Dhabi Police, which lasted from February 2011 to November 2016. In terms of education, Qais holds a Master of Public Policy in Sustainable Development from Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government (2017-2019), a Master of International Law, Diplomacy, and International Relations focused on Sustainable Development from Université Paris-Sorbonne (2011-2014), and a Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences from the University of Melbourne (2007-2010).
