Rajaraman Ramachandran

Rajaraman Ramachandran has extensive experience in the energy industry, spanning over three decades. Rajaraman most recently served as the Head of Business Development/Vice President at TAQA Group since December 2020. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Vice President - Business Development at ENGIE Middle East, South Central Asia, Turkey (formerly GDF Suez / International Power) from January 2010 to November 2020. Rajaraman also had a significant tenure at GDF Suez Energy India, where they served as the Senior Vice President - Business Development from May 2005 to December 2009. Rajaraman started their career at Cummins Power Generation as the Head of Energy Solutions Business from an unknown date to 2005. Rajaraman began their professional journey at Hindustan Powerplus Limited as the Manager of Technical Sales from June 1988 to November 2001.

Rajaraman Ramachandran's education history begins in 1982 when they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Bharathiar University. Continuing their educational pursuits, they attended Anna University from 1985 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Automobiles. In 1991, Rajaraman enrolled at the Institute of Cost Accountants of India and completed their ICWA degree in Cost Accounting in 1993. Lastly, from 1996 to 1999, they pursued an MBA in Marketing and Finance at Bharathidasan University.
