Vijay Vempati

Vijay Vempati is a senior engineering executive with a total experience of 17 years of which over 14 years in Enterprise software development and implementation, at domestic and international levels.

Vijay is a shining beacon for youngsters in the Java, J2EE stream where he started as a senior engineer in 2005 at Tarang and has grown from Technical Lead to Senior Technical Lead and is now Engineering Manager. He has run the Java Center of Excellence at Tarang where he has nurtured and mentored several youngsters.

Vijay has a successful track record in requirements gathering and analysis, architecture, design, development, deployment of enterprise scale applications and products in payments domain. He has extensive experience in designing interfaces for software product solutions and services.

Vijay has a deep understanding of designing systems and web-enabling legacy, migrating applications using object-oriented design patterns and web applications. He works closely with customers in building solutions, runs large project teams, supports and maintains their systems, and implements the solutions at end customers. He has rich experience in managing projects from inception till deployment and works with clients of the customer to achieve smooth rollovers.

Vijay's passion is to learn new technologies and frameworks for improving solution implementation and future solutions. Innovative concepts for modeling the components and architecting solutions are very close to his heart.

Prior to joining Tarang, Vijay was with MobilCom AG, Buedelsdorf, Germany which specializes in providing Mobile phone services. MobilCom has its own mobile network, serves more than a million customers in the region, and offers services ranging from basic telephony to value-added like games, mobile commerce. Vijay had worked in developing the Billing product in the IT division.

Vijay did his Bachelor of Engineering, and Post-graduation in Computer applications.
