Mike DiPaola

Mike DiPaola has extensive work experience in various roles related to sales, marketing, operations, and management. Mike currently serves as the Chief Commercial Officer at Taranis since March 2020. Prior to that, they worked as the Head of Seeds & Digital Ag at Southern States Cooperative from January 2018 to March 2020.

In 2017, DiPaola founded a specialized consultancy called a·tipicle and partnered with FarmWizard, Ltd to develop and market a farm management system and enterprise supply chain solution. Mike served as the President and Director of Business Development during this time.

From 2016 to 2017, they held the position of Vice President, Global Sales & Operations at Farmers Edge. At Syngenta, they worked from 2005 to 2016, holding various management and leadership roles in sales, operations, marketing, strategic planning, and P&L ownership. As the Head of Sales Services & Training, they led national sales services, customer success, data analytics, and training initiatives.

Earlier in their career, DiPaola worked at Ralph Lauren from 2001 to 2005, managing distribution and supply chain operations. In this role, they were responsible for inbound and value-added services departments, as well as WMS and IT projects.

Mike DiPaola's education history begins in 1997 when they attended Campbell University, studying Political Science and Government. Mike then transferred to the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 1999 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government in 2001. In 2002, they pursued a post-baccalaureate certificate in Business Administration from the same university, which concluded in 2003. Following this, Mike pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, completing it in 2005. In 2008, they furthered their studies with a post-master's certificate in Financial Analysis from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, which lasted for one year.
