Florin Georgescu

Florin Georgescu has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and engineering. Florin started their career as a Web Developer Intern at eMotion Concept in 2012. Florin then joined Ixia as a Web Programmer III and later transitioned to the role of Professional Services Engineer, where they engaged in pre-sales activities and delivered services to customers in the EMEA region.

In 2019, Florin worked as a Senior Software Developer at BearingPoint, contributing to a startup project for real estate management software. Florin collaborated with a multi-disciplinary team in an Agile environment. Later that year, they joined GloriaFood as a Senior Full Stack Engineer.

In 2020, Florin founded their own startup called partnee, where they served as the Founder and Senior Full Stack Engineer. The startup aimed to provide a platform for freelancers to create online business profiles. Florin implemented Role Based Authorization and managed user data.

Florin then worked as a Senior Frontend Engineer at Zuum Transportation, Inc., where they contributed to the development of a Transportation Management system. Florin created features such as a map displaying filtered shipments and a custom date range picker.

In 2019, Florin also worked as a Senior Frontend Developer at Arnia Software, where they worked on multiple projects. One of their notable contributions was developing a Customer Portal with Role-Based Authorization.

In 2021, Florin joined Energy Web as a Senior Full Stack Engineer before moving on to their current role as a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Taraxa.io starting in 2022.

Florin Georgescu completed their Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science at Colegiul National Mihai Eminescu Buzau from 2005 to 2009. Florin then attended the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in the Faculty of Engineering in Foreign Languages - Computer Science. After that, from 2013 to 2015, they pursued a Master's Degree in Project Management at the National University of Political Studies and Public Administration.

In addition to their academic achievements, Florin also obtained the CCNA Routing and Switching certification from Cisco in August 2014.
