Billy Ashby

Billy Ashby, CMI has a comprehensive work experience in various roles and industries. Billy started their career as an Assistant Manager at Office Depot from August 2005 to August 2008. Billy then worked at Ryan as a Consultant from July 2008 to September 2012. Later on, they served as a Senior Consultant at Ryan from September 2012 to April 2014. Billy then joined Alvarez & Marsal as a Senior Associate from April 2014 to November 2018. In this company, they eventually became a Director from November 2018 to May 2020. Billy further advanced their career at Energy Tax Advisors as Director from May 2020 to August 2023. Currently, Billy works as an Analyst Lead Operational Tax at Targa Resources starting from October 2023.

Billy Ashby, CMI, holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Economics from Texas A&M University. Prior to attending Texas A&M, Billy attended Calallen High School. Billy also obtained a certification in CMI (Certified Member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation) from the Institute for Professionals in Taxation in July 2017. Additionally, Billy completed School II at the Institute for Professionals in Taxation.
