Dustin Nelson

Dustin Nelson is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in financial analysis and accounting. Currently serving as a Senior Financial Analyst at Targa Resources since January 2023, Dustin also holds the position of Assistant Vice President at Municipal Utility District #123, where responsibilities include working with a board of elected Directors. Previous roles include Senior Accountant positions at both Skyward Specialty Insurance and Cardtronics, where Dustin contributed to international finance and monthly financial reporting. Prior to this, Dustin was a Technical Accounting Senior at Group 1 Automotive, leading global implementations of key accounting standards. Earlier career experiences include an Audit Associate role at PwC, a Financial Analyst internship at Refinery Specialties, and management of a $3 million endowment fund during graduate studies at Trinity University. Dustin earned a Master of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Trinity University.
