Artem Akopyan

Artem Akopyan has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Artem is currently serving as the Director of Finance (Interim), SM FP&A, and Strategic Initiatives at Targray. Prior to that, they worked as the Senior Manager of FP&A, Investments, and Strategic Initiatives at the same company.

Before joining Targray, Artem was the Founder in Residence at Antler. Artem also held a prominent role at IVI, the leading video streaming platform in Eastern Europe, where they served as the Director of Strategy, Analytics, and Corporate Development. In this position, they managed an analytics team and led the development of key strategic and operational models, including budgeting and FP&A models. Artem was also responsible for preparing and reporting key metrics to the Board of Directors.

Artem also gained experience at Telesat as a Manager of Corporate Development and at KPMG Corporate Finance LLC as a Manager of Corporate Finance, M&A, and Capital Markets. Artem started their career at Aspring Capital and Ernst & Young, where they held roles in M&A, financing, and corporate finance. Artem also worked at HP as a Business Finance Lead and Financial Analyst.

Artem Akopyan obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Mathematics and Physics from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (State University) (MIPT). Artem later pursued a Master's Degree in the same field from the same institution. In 2016-2017, Artem attended Ivey Business School at Western University, where they completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.). Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including AFM (Accredited Financial Modeler) from The Marquee Group, CFA Level III Candidate from CFA Institute, CPA, CGA from CPA Canada (Chartered Professional Accountants Canada), and ACCA from ACCA.
