Cecil Fong is an experienced professional with a strong background in stakeholder relations and public service. Currently serving as a Stakeholder Relations Advisor at Tarion since October 2021, Cecil has previous experience as a Business Manager at KANDL and a Business Assistant at Premier Candle Corp. A significant portion of career development occurred in various roles within the Ontario Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport, and Ontario Ministry of Citizenship, Immigration and International Trade, including Senior Operations and Public Appointments Advisor and Senior Communications and Policy Advisor. Additional roles encompassed legislative assistance and IT support at the Children's Aid Society of Toronto. Cecil Fong holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Policy & Management from York University and a Diploma in Accounting from Seneca Polytechnic.

Tarion is an independent not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting Ontario’s new home buyers and owners through the province’s new home warranty and protection program. Tarion helps consumers protect one of their most significant purchases by guiding them through their rights and responsibilities under the new home warranty, so they can make informed decisions throughout the warranty claim process.
