David Håkansson

David Håkansson has over 14 years of work experience in various roles and industries. David started their career as an intern at Södra and AarhusKarlshamn AB in 2006 and 2007 respectively. In 2008, they worked on a Master's thesis at Flexator AB, focusing on industrial production methods in the building industry.

In 2009, David joined ABB AB, where they held roles such as Executive Trainee, Strategic Sourcing Manager, Project Manager, and Operations Manager between 2009 and 2015.

In 2016, they joined Signode as the Supply Chain Manager for the Northern Europe management group. David was responsible for three sites and a budget of 150M€. From 2017 to 2023, they held various roles at Signode, including Operations Director EMEA, Managing Director of Signode Sweden AB, and MD Signode Sweden AB.

Currently, David is working as the Plant Director at Tarkett, starting in 2023.

David Håkansson obtained a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University from 2003 to 2008. David also earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Business/Managerial Economics from Lund University School of Economics and Management from 2006 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, David has obtained several certifications including ABB Certified Project Manager from the Project Management Institute, Washington DC Chapter, Inc in 2015. David also completed the Management Development Program from ABB in 2014 and the Personligt Ledarskap program from Leadership Management International, Inc. in 2012. Additionally, they completed the Supply Management Program from Silf Competence in 2011 and the International Communication Programme from International Communications Group ICG in 2009. David was also part of the ABB Executive Trainee Program in 2009.
