Hugo Silva

Hugo Silva has a diverse work experience in various industries. Hugo started their career as an Electrical Designer at N-TEC Automation in 2001 and worked there until 2003. From 2003 to 2006, they worked as an Electronic Technician at Autvale, where they were responsible for PLC programming and field technical support. Hugo then joined KHS as a Senior Machine Project Engineer, specializing in machine and production line development engineering. Hugo worked there from 2006 to 2010, actively participating in project development phases in Germany before equipment fabrication in Brazil. In 2010, they joined Autoliv as a Senior Machine Build Project Engineer, leading the initiation of the Machine Build Department and overseeing the launch of new production lines and equipment. Finally, since 2014, they have been working at Tarkett, starting as a Maintenance Manager and progressing to roles such as Maintenance & Engineering Manager, Plant Manager, and currently, as the Plant Director. In their current role, they are responsible for overseeing plant operations and leading the implementation of cost reduction initiatives.

Hugo Silva holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Universidade do Vale do Paraíba, which they obtained from 2004 to 2009. In 2011 to 2012, they pursued a Postgraduate - Specialization Program in Industrial Automation at Universidade de Taubaté. Hugo then completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas between 2018 and 2020. Additionally, they obtained an Electronics Technician diploma from Instituto de Tecnologia de Jacareí - ITJ in 2002 to 2003 with a focus on Electricity and Electronics.
