David Purcell

David Purcell has extensive experience in nonprofit and community service organizations, currently serving as the Director of Agency Services and Director of Volunteer Services at Tarrant Area Food Bank since October 2016. Previously, David held the position of Store Coordinator at San Antonio Food Bank from November 2012 to June 2016 and worked as a Donor Relations Officer at San Antonio Humane Society in 2011-2012, focusing on donor engagement. David's career began as Youth Director at a Lutheran Church from 2001 to 2011, where responsibilities included program and curriculum development. David holds a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from Luther Seminary (2007-2009) and a Bachelor of Education in Music from Texas Christian University (2003-2007).
