April Trafton

April Trafton is a seasoned educator with extensive experience in teaching and curriculum development focused on English language learning. Currently serving as the Director of Learning Support Services at Tarrant County College since March 2015, April oversees tutoring and Supplemental Instruction centers while contributing to the development of Learning Commons. Previous roles include Academic Learning Center Manager, ESL Instructor, and Writing Tutor, where April designed English language curriculum and provided individualized instruction to diverse learners. Additional teaching experiences span various institutions, including an online ESL instructor position at Webilang and a teaching intern role at the University of North Texas. April holds a Master of Arts in TESOL from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Concordia University Portland.
