Mark Jayson Mabanag

Mark Jayson Mabanag has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Mark Jayson started their career as an On the Job Trainee in the Finance Department of Legend hotels international corporation in 2012. Mark Jayson then worked as an Accounting Assistant and later as an Accounting Specialist at DMCI Power Corporation from 2015 to 2020, gaining experience in power industry accounting.

In 2020, they joined Tiotangco Cervantes Holding Corporation as the OIC-Finance & Accounting Head, where they were responsible for protecting company assets, analyzing business productivity and revenue, ensuring compliance with internal procedures, and presenting findings to management. Mark Jayson also worked as an Internal Auditor across various industries within the corporation.

In 2021, Mark worked as a Professional Freelancer - Accountant on Upwork, before joining Philip Morris International as a Finance Control Analyst. In this role, they ensured operational and financial controls were in place, prepared regular and ad-hoc reporting requirements, and analyzed information quickly to identify risks and opportunities.

Within the same year, they briefly served as a Management Advisory Partner at Porlas Accounting and Business Consultancy Co., where they conducted financial statement and tax analysis.

Currently, Mark is working at TAS Tradesoft Corporation as a Staff Accountant. In this role, they assist the Controller with timely and accurate period closes, emphasizing account reconciliations and following US GAAP guidelines. Mark Jayson Mabanag began their education at Palawan State University, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Business/Management from 2009 to 2013. Following this, they attended Holy Trinity College of Puerto Princesa and obtained another Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, which they completed in 2014. In 2015, Mark Jayson Mabanag achieved the status of Certified Public Accountant through the Philippine Professional Regulation Commission. Mark Jayson furthered their education by enrolling in AMA University - Online Education in 2016, pursuing a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Accounting and Finance.
