Dion McGill

Dion McGill currently serves as the Director of Communications and Marketing at TASC, Inc. and as a 7th Police District Council Member for the Community Commission for Public Safety and Accountability in Chicago. With a diverse background, Dion produces and hosts "Off The Beaten Podcast" and previously managed communications and community outreach at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. Dion has experience in youth advocacy through the Illinois Council Against Handgun Violence and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Sciences from Saint Xavier University. Additional experiences include teaching social sciences at various educational institutions and serving as a Chemical Decontamination Specialist in the Army National Guard. Dion also holds a Basic Certificate in Cannabis Dispensary Operations from City Colleges of Chicago-Olive-Harvey College.
